First responders have been working overtime to help as many people as possible, including some who were stranded in trees as flood waters roared beneath them. ?San Diego Fire Department tweeted that department rescued an individual clinging to a tree from flood waters at Avenida del Rio and Camino de la Rio. The location runs parallel to the San Diego River near the SR-163 and I-8 connector. Yesterday, SDFD performed multiple water rescues of individuals caught in flooded areas around Mission Valley.?
